PROOF!

Used to be, you went on vacation and visited friends, and took pictures to show your friends and family back home. Nowadays, our worlds have become so compact, and with the advent of facebook and twitter and all the other online communities, it's so easy for our friends and family to remain close, even though they are thousands of miles away. I, for one, love it, because I don't feel as far away from everyone as I used to. I know what's up with y'all's kids (Yep, I said it. Y'all's. HAHA!), your jobs, your loves, and it's comforting to me. But what it has created in this little musician/filmmmaker's mind, is a freakin' monster! I am not content with showing a few photos. Just ask my band, Nobody's Station, and the FONS (Friends Of Nobody's Station), and they will tell you, whenever we go camping, or have a party, which is often, I have video cameras all over the place. No one is safe. Rachel takes the most amazing still photos, and she will caress you with her lens. I will violate you with my digi-vidi. Be prepared.

Anyway, having said all that, I want to share with you a big part of my sabbatical to Nashville, which is my first performance at The Bluebird Cafe. Kenny, bless his heart, shot this video from WAAAAY below me, so my chin(s) are actually the real star here. What I love about it, is how my vanity regarding said chin(s) is non-existent these days. Thankfully!

Oh, I guess if there was no more vanity, I wouldn't have even mentioned it. Yikes. Oh well, I'm trying!

So here's my terrified performance of my new song "Starting To Shake."

Chin(s) and all.
